The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards recognise Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered exceptional Microsoft-based solutions during the past year. Awards were classified in several categories, with honourees chosen from a set of more than 3,300 submitted nominations from more than 100 countries worldwide. In additional to successful renewal of Azure Expert MSP status in December 2019, in July 2020, Cloud Services has earned the Windows Server and SQL Server Migration to Microsoft Azure advanced specialisation and Modernisation of Web Applications to Microsoft Azure advanced specialisation, a validation of a solution partner’s deep knowledge, extensive experience and expertise in migrating Windows Server and SQL Server-based workloads to Azure and modernisation of applications. Only partners that meet stringent criteria around customer success and staff skilling, as well as pass a third-party audit of their Windows Server and SQL Server Migration practice, and Modernisation of Web Applications practice, are able to earn these Azure advanced specialisations.

As companies look to modernise their applications and take full advantage of the benefits that cloud computing can deliver, and with the recent end-of-support for Windows Server 2008 R2 and SQL Server 2008 R2, they are looking for a partner with advanced skills to assess, plan, and migrate their existing workloads to the cloud.
